On July 8, AI-HSS convened its Consultative Committee meeting. Dean Zeng Yong delivered a report named "Anchoring at Interdisciplinary Frontiers Uniting Forces for Innovation". 

International members including Guillaume Thierry (Bangor University), Ping LI (The Hong  Kong Polytechnic Technology), Daniel Wikler (Harvard University), Thomas Pogge (Yale University), Qiwei YAO (London School of Economics and Political Science), Peter Singer (Princeton University), and Tianyu CAO (Boston University) advised on academic structure and research directions. Over 10 faculty representatives of AI-HSS attended the meeting.
