To further advance the university’s development of New Liberal Arts and attract outstanding talents to engage in cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in humanities and social sciences, the AI-HSS carried out recruitment events across five cities: Nanjing, Xi’an, Hefei, Zhengzhou and Chengdu from May 9 to 21, connecting with prominent institutions including Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xidian University, Anhui University, Zhengzhou University and other universities, and arranged seminars and special exchange sessions.

Led by core faculty of AI-HSS, this roadshow featured group briefings, departmental discussions and one-on-one Q&A sessions. It fully showcased the institute’s disciplinary characteristics and training advantages, delivering widespread recruitment publicity and achieving deep engagement with key target departments.

This five-city tour marks a strategic initiative for AI-HSS to step beyond the campus gates and recruit top talents. In the future, AI-HSS will continue to roll out online supervisor-student meetups, summer academic camps and other activities, to build a more accessible platform for students committed to advanced research in humanities and social sciences to fulfill their academic aspirations.
