Professor Shan Gao from AI-HSS attended the 33rd Annual Conference of the European Second Language Association (EuroSLA) held in Montpellier, France, from July 2 to July 8, 2024.

Gao presented her research entitled "Disruption of Native Language Access by Non-Verbal Emotional Content in Bilinguals" in the form of an oral presentation. This participation served to showcase recent achievements byresearchersof UESTCin this field and provided an opportunity to actively exchange ideas with international experts in second language research and related disciplines.
