Main content:
The new era calls for the cultivation of new liberal arts talents, and the cultivation of such talents calls for linguistic reform. A great era is inseparable from the knowledge reform and ideological guidance of philosophy and social sciences, which requires higher education institutions to cultivate new liberal arts talents in the new era to support the national innovation-driven strategy. As the carrier of thinking, language participates in and regulates all human thinking processes, such as visual thinking, abstract thinking, and inspirational thinking included in human thinking. This report focuses on discussing the reform context, work foundation, and exploratory practice of cultivating new liberal arts linguistic talents. The cultivation reform of new liberal arts linguistic talents should clarify the requirements for cultivating new liberal arts talents and face cutting-edge science and social development. The key to the breakthrough of the next generation of artificial intelligence lies in linguistics. The innovation of single professional knowledge in traditional linguistics is insufficient, and traditional linguistic talents are difficult to meet the development needs. It is necessary to re-understand the disciplinary status and talent cultivation requirements of linguistics, face the cultural soft power of Chinese culture and its inheritance and innovation, the needs of improving scientific and technological hard power such as brain science and artificial intelligence, and national security, build an interdisciplinary knowledge system, take the initiative to connect with the key needs of science and artificial intelligence, and make new contributions to the innovation of China's independent knowledge system and talent cultivation.
