On July 3, Adam J. Privitera, a scholar from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, visited AI-HSS and presented a report titled “Bilingual Effects on Cognitive Control: Addressing Limits and Advancing the Field.” He revealed the complexity of bilingual effects on cognitive control, critiqued traditional two-dimensional approaches, and proposed an innovative multidimensional dynamic analysis framework.

Professor Zeng Yong, Dean of IAS and Academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences (IEAS), and Professor Shen Xiaorong, Executive Director of the AI-HSS Council, attended the event. Zeng noted that Privitera’s work aligns closely with AI-HSS's focus on “cognitive linguistics and language intelligence,” providing key insights for integrating linguistics, neuroscience, and AI.
