On June 30, Ian McGonigle from Maynooth University, Ireland, visited AI-HSS for a seminar on “Science, Technology, Society, and Humanities.” Discussions centered on sci-tech ethics, technological-social transformations, and innovative interdisciplinary approaches.

Professor Zeng Yong, Dean of AI-HSS, and Professor Shen Xiaorong, Executive Director of the AI-HSS Council, participated the seminar, discussing responsible humanities research in the digital-AI era. Zeng stated that AI-HSS will continue strengthening global collaboration and building platforms to foster innovation integrating new quality productive forces and humanistic values.
